Understand the competition

Understanding why people move on would be ideal, however this feedback is rarely taken up by the individual when leaving the workforce. Even if we did capture this information, it tends to get lost in localized reporting.

I would instead suggest best efforts are made to identifying where people move on to, and capturing this information within a central system (maybe ESR). This should hopefully give us some insight to what the most popular destinations for certain workforce areas, and then a piece of work can be done to see how we can instill similar values in order to retain that workforce.
